How to install Windows 7-32bit!

Dear all!

Before I used Windows XP, but now I clean install by installing Windows 7. I prefer Windows 7 32-bit. When installing the Windows 7, I got only Windows 7 64-bit and 86-bit options. It means I can't install windows 7 32-bit to my current computer. What must I do to get "Windows 7 32-bit" to work? Or it's because of my computer status that can't support Windows 7 32-bit. My computer is Dell Optiplex 380 (CPU Core to duo 2.6, Ram 2GB, and Hard Disk 640GB). Please help to tell me how to figure it out.

86 means 32 Bit

It means that my computer will be installed with 32-bit if I choose 86-bit and then install. Is it right? Sorry for being unaware of my knowledge here. Thanks and I am looking forward from you more.

Just relax. Processors which were based upon the old 8086, such as, the Pentium and so forth had a 32-bit wide data path. The newer processors can work with a 64-bit wide data path.

Consequently 32-bit is referred to as x86 and 64 bit as x64.

Strange but true.
