How to Install windows XP

Hello windows 7 users,
I am using windows 7 os. Now I want to install windows xp in my laptop. Because some softwares are not working in windows 7. That's why i want to install windows xp. I want to use windows 7 and also windows xp. So tell me how to install windows xp in my laptop.

Have you sought help for getting the xp programs to work here on these forums?
Most problems do have workarounds.
The only reason I bring this up is because the easiest way to add xp would actually be to clean the drive install xp first, then install win 7 on top.

While installing Windows XP will allow you to run your old programs, it would be much easier to install a piece of software for Windows 7 called Windows XP Mode. Below is a nice tutorial on how to set it up.

Disclaimer: Because you have not filled out your system specs, I do not know which edition of Windows 7 you have. Windows XP Mode will only work in Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions.

First check for all the Win XP drivers for your hardware on the manufacturer's web site.
If your Win XP CD, does not support your Sata Controller, you will need to load drivers to uses at F6.
Load Sata Controller drivers with a floppy disk is the best way.
