How to know what caused Windows to crash

Hello

MY Windows PC crashed overnight. I was not able to restart it. A message was telling that probably a missing element was missing.

- I was able to load in safe mode After 3 retry, Windows finally did start normally

After reloading, I was not able to restart my anti-virus Kaspersky. After a clean re-install, Kaspersky was able to load. I doubt that I have a virus. No virus found after analysis.

Is there a way to know what has cause Windows to crash?

There are two broad reasons that a computer has problems
One is hardware. That includes memory, hard drive, psu, etc
The other is software, drivers, software, etc.
If you were able to get your computer working after a reinstall, the problem is software.
Even if you did have a virus it is gone after a clean reinstall.
In the future, if you want to know the cause you have to come to us before the problem is resolved and we can help you find the cause.

With the reinstall you lost any info that may have been logged.
Some viruses/malware will stop an anti-virus program from starting.

Maybe I was misunderstood. Nothing has been re-install, except my Kaspersky

I was able to load in safe mode, but was not able to run Kaspersky
Did try twice to a normal reload. The third time, Windows did go through and since run flawlessly.

Windows Event Viewer

Hello again

My PC had some error when I came back to it this morning. It had some file integrity problems
I did look in the Event Viewer and see some errors. I just don't know how to interpret them.

Here is a link to a snap shot of the Event Viewer. The text is in French.

Does the information could help to resolve the problem?

Yes I did execute the SFC and no problem was reported.

What I suspect now:

Few days ago, I replaced my SSD drive for a larger one. I did bough a used one. I copied an image of my initial drive to the new one. Maybe, the image did write above faulty cell in the drive.

I did check the drive life expectancy using SSD life. It shown that the drive is good for 8 more years with 77% of the cell intact. Meaning that there is a risk that some software have been corrupted.

Event viewer report Error 41 Kernel Power.
Is there a problem with my motherboard / Power supply / software ???
How can I check all these & my Files integrity

If the problem was due to the image including a faulty cell, you would have had the same problem with the old hard drive and you did not tell me that you did.
I tend to think that it is a hardware problem. I base this on the fact that you said that it still does not work the way it should in safe mode. Am I correct thinking this?
If I am correct lets start checking hardware. Rather than just guess, we can test according to what is the most common. Lets start with memory. I do not think its the power supply.

My questioning was about my new ssd drive. As mention, this one I bought it used. If this one had some faulty cells, then maybe, these cells where used by copying the image over them.

I did a memtest this morning before posting again with MEM86. No error was found. Tonight, I will let it run before going to bed for a more harder test.

Last hour, I installed a software called Sandra from SisoSoftware to test my hardware. At the moment, I see 12v voltage do oscillate a lot from 10.75 to up to 18V This is a big and wide variation, but I don't know if it is normal. I will test on another PC that I got.

Maybe a very bad power supply. The +12V should be between 11.4V and 12.6, no more or less.

The voltage that I report is from Sandro Software. I'm not sure anymore that it is the 12v that is reported on the chart. I physically test the voltage on my PC power plug and the 12v was ok

Did you test it with Windows running? No time should it be outside of the values I posted.
