How to log in to a user account with administrative rights?

This has always annoyed me but I’ve never taken the time to figure it out. I bought the computer for myself. It’s in my house and nobody else uses it. Sometimes I get this monkey business: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95319?hl=en

What should I do?

for some reason micrsoft has the unusual idea of designing windows 7 so that by default the administrator account will not show up on the login screen. you have to go in to the account policies etc. and enable the administrator account.

Open a Elevated Command prompt:

Click on the Start button and type cmd.
DO NOT press Enter or click Go.
Look at the upper part of the window and you will see cmd.exe.
Right click on it and select Run as Administrator.

Type net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter.

That enables the hidden Administrator account so you can loon to it when needed.

/active:no disables it again.

Is there a way to make this permanent so that, without any extra steps, I can just always login (start windows) as administrator so that I’ll not be bothered by this again?
In other words just turn on the computer, click on my name and have this set as the default way to open windows?

You can but I recommend not doing so.

Instead, turn off UAC for your normal login user account. See here: Turn User Account Control on or off
