How to make balloon tips disappear promptly, *without disabling them*

Is there any registry setting that'll allow me to change the maximum display time for a balloon tip? I want all of them to appear for 3-5 seconds or so rather than hang around for 30+ like they currently do.

I do NOT want to disable them entirely. I know how to do that, and it's not what I want, as the information in the balloons can be useful.



Tried trawling google, but all I can find is a thousand results explaining how to disable them entirely. If there is anything out there, it's lost in a sea of similar search results.
