How to make gif. pics move in windows photo viewer??

hi...

im new with window 7..

well after i used window seven my gif. pictures don't move when i view it using window photo viewer (it's don't move when i view using picasa too)

so anyone can help me??
how to make it move...
pls..

Hello yoyoicecube,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

Animations don't work in photo viewer, don't know anything about picasa. Some photoediting software can play gifs. Your web browser should play the animations. You can associate .gif with your web browser. Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations. Select .gif and change. Select your web browser.

You have to go to following address on your computer.
Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Set your default programs . then select Windows photo viewer and click on Choose defaults for this program. there you can tik (select) tif, tiff, bmp, and gif extensions. then click on Save and feel difference

i did that but this is what happen after i check the GIF i press OK then the GIF file turn backs to IE as GIF viewer so i right click it/Properties/Open with/Windows Photo Viewer and view the gif still nothing happen i check the default program and it seems it turns back to normal again the GIF has been unchecked
