Hello! I'm New Member!
Anyways,
I've been downloading many Videos and I watch them on WMP (I'm running Windows 7 64Bit) and I have variety of files. But for some reason files like .Mp4 would show thumbnails/an image of the video while my MKV files just show an Icon. I have installed K-Lite codec pack 5.2.0 (64Bit) to enable my WMP to watch several files. Also I have try installing the Divx preview thing (Forgot what's it called) and it does make the Mkv show the thumbnail but it lags incredibly when I play it. Is there any alternate way to make my MKV videos show thumbnails? Thanks!

(Please Do Not Mention VLC or etc., I just like to use WMP)

uninstall klite.

install the 32bit Win7codecs (required)
install the x64Components addon

open the 32bit Settings Application using a rightclick, select, Run as Administrator and close it.

open the 64bit Settings Applications using a rightclick, select, Run as Administrator and on the Help TAB, use the button [Windows Filetype Associations]
