Hi,
This is getting really irritating for me now. Is there a way to get Windows Media Player to simply show me my music in folders as windows explorer sees them? I ask because it won't let me make playlists like every other media player I've ever used by just creating a new playlist, and drag>dropping music files from explorer into the playlist. Looking around apparently I have to drag them from the library pane or something, but because I listen to a lot of music that isn't just ripped from a CD or an actual album, WMP completely falls over trying to show me 90% of the music with no artist, album, year info, etc. I thought setting the Library pane to show me my music as 'Folder' instead of its usual 'Artist', 'Genre' 'Year' would do the trick, but this just shows me the root folder, then opens it up to a big mess of crap that I can't find my music in easily.

My music is arranged in folders, each with the title of the 'album' in explorer.

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
In your explorer window while you have a folder open
Select all and right click one of the files and see what the options are
You should see Add to wmp playlist where the files should open in wmp where you can save the playlist and drag the files in a different running order just pause the play,
Cheers.
