Hi,

I like the windows 7.. It much faster...

But When i open Internet Explorer Window it opens a new window in first time... and the IE icon in task bar is filled with IE windows, If i want to open another IE window, I have only 2 choices :

1. Open New window using File menu or
2. Right click IE Window on task bar and clicking IE..

Any one tell me how to open new IE window when first IE window is open, like opening multiple IE windows by clicking IE icon in taskbar...

Simply I want IE icon should be shown on Taskbar even mutiple IE windows open (Just like Vista and XP)

Thanks..

Hello Bond and welcome to the Seven Forums.

Right click the IE icon in taskbar, choose Internet Explorer from menu. A new IE windows opens (that one you already know, I see). When IE is active, you can open a new windows fast by pressing CTRL + N.

If you are using Quick Launch, just click IE icon in Quick Launch and a new IE windows opens.

If I have a webpage up and I want to go to Google too, I press the middle button (scroll button) on the mouse to open it. I will have two tabs showing and can switch to either site. Is this what you want to do?

A few more options to launch a new window:
Shift-Click On IE on the taskbar
Press CTRL+N
Instead of right clicking the taskbar icon, left click and drag up on it to reveal the jump list, then click IE

Takes a little getting used to, I didn't really like it at first but now it's seamless.

Hi All ,

Thanks for the reply...

I forgot to enable Quick launch button.. I thought the default taskbar buttons are quick launch buttons and quick launch is already enabled (lol)..:D

Once i enabled Quick launch buttons my problem is over and i can open multiple IE windows with out right clicking or pressing ctrl+N or whatever the other methods...:sleepy:

Thanks for your suggestions...
