I was wonder is anybody here have the information about how and with which software to patch manually uxtheme.dll and any other needed dlls? I tried to use uxpatcher, but my system started to behave weirdly, many sites started to ask me fill the captcha plus my process explorer started to show unusual activity of dllhost.
So to avoid any possible malware that could potentially goes with any patcher I'd like to patch dlls by myself.
I've opened original and modified uxtheme.dll with different resource editors and didn't find any differences.
Then I've read about a tool called dependecywalker and tried it. It gave a list of other windows dll that uxtheme.dll probably somehow calls and code of those calls. But its in hex and there are so many dlls...so i thought maybe theres a much simple way?
Anyone knows what exact does uxpatchers to original dll? I'm looking for that info on google for 1 day and still havent found anything particular.
