How to play audio (i.e. mp3's) in 2 different rooms at the same time

My cousin has a 7.1 system in his projector room that plays the mp3's fine and in the other rooms he has analog ceiling speakers (my bet, 2.0 channels) is there any way to play the audio from the projector windows 7 pc to the ceiling speakers in even 1 of the other rooms at the same time? everything in the house is wired to each other

he also has a digital sound card in his pc and today we were messing around and he put an analog sound card in there as well...the problem is he cant get sound settings in control panel on his pc to use more than 1 default set of speakers and would the application "virtual audio cable" help in any way we were messing around with this today he has hope that it would work because of wut some forums have told him
