How to Print an Image directly to the Printer ?

Minor details about the Printer I've been using :
- Epson Stylus CX5500
- Driver is Up-to-Date
- All Ink Cartridges are "Full"

I once had a simple way to print a single image using the Windows Photo Viewer,
As it allows me to print it directly using my Epson printer instead of showing "Print Pictures" window.
What I mean "directly" is it prints with only showing the "Ink Levels" together with the printer settings.

But something went different by yesterday.
Whenever I want to Print an Image with Windows Photo Viewer,
It shows this :
Untitled.jpg

Which extend the process and none of the sizes fits to my liking.
However, I still can change my printer settings by clicking the "Options..."

P.S : Already using the driver from its CD installation and also tried with the latest driver from Web.

It just gets annoying over time, hope you can feel my frustrations.
Any help would be really appreciated, thanks !

Hello and welcome vellfire now I am not familiar with that program and in your post you show what you see when you want to print a picture.

Now I am guessing here that you click on your pictures library select a pic and then ask it to print? You then get the the screen you posted. What I don't get is what apart from the sizing is not to your liking?

Apart from the new driver for the printer have you added any new hardware or software?

Just out of curiosity why are you not running any AV? only that this might well be down to something that you have downloaded being a malware.

Myself I would be running these as a matter of course it takes no time at all and just might find something that is interfering with and to check your system.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2 (if you are going to use the /r switch there is no need for the /f switch)
Run these in safe mode and the sfc often best run for two to three runs – you can leave out the /r switch in ckdsk if you feel it not necessary

if no fix then these

SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!
Malwarebytes | Malwarebytes Premium
AdwCleaner Download
ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If you are running Kaspersky as the main AV then it might need disabling it when trying ADW because it does not like it at times)

Thanks a lot for the reply !

I've been told by some other relatives that I should keep this way of printing.
But I really can't fit myself with this "Photo Print Wizard", I prefer the old fashioned way.
(Where it brings me directly to the printer's software/window before printing something)

If you curious of why I don't have any AV installed :
SpyHunter was the only one I used a long time ago.
Rarely Scan/Fix my PC as I don't have much Software(s) downloaded from Web.
Until the last time I scanned, is when a bunch of Drivers/User settings which leads me to uninstall the AV.
And I fear if that's the cause of this "Photo Print Wizard" to appears.

There's also 1 thing about me, I never turn on any Browsers/Windows Update.
(My OS is already got all the latest Updates)

Thanks again !

Ok well we must keep digging around and I am just wondering if a system restore tobefore this started to happen would be worth a try - nothing to lose eh?

Now as for an AV then I personally would install something as a real time AV and this will give you a list of free ones the only thing is stay clear of AVG, McAfee, and Comodo (it is an awful nagger) out of them I would pick Avast, Avira or MSE Free Windows Desktop Software Security List - Realtime Protection | Gizmo's Freeware

Now also I keep Malwarebytes and Supeantispyware on my machines as a regular ad hoc scan the SAS is really good at picking up Adware and a lot of clutter and will help keep the drive free from junk. The ADW I use only when I am stuck it is quite thorough when it scans. It is of course up to you as to what you use I am just saying this because I believe something small like these are better than nothing along with one of those fee AV's.
I also run CCleaner for junk stuff it is a very handy tool for many things but again it is your choice CCleaner - Free Download or try CCleaner Professional - Piriform

Just as a by the by I have six machines and run these on all of them.

One last tip if you want more out of your machine this is my bible and as long as you do not mind losing some of the "bling" like transparency (I think it is an unecessary feature myself) it will really tune up your system
Optimize Windows 7

Edit: Should have asked did you uninstall Spyhunter? if not then I would because having two AV's on a system is not a good thing because a lot of them conflict with each other. I don't know if it has a dedicated removal tool but it can be got rid of by deleting the registry entries for it. If you are not sure on how to do that let us know.

Addit: here it is http://spy-hunter-removal-tool.software.informer.com/1.0/

Did the CCleaner and I found nothing and I guess I will keep this one.
Avira caused my parents PC to keep getting BSOD and constantly beeping sounds.
Malwarebytes isn't free and it tells me that after I install the "Demo", lol.

Oh, I forgot to mention before I remove SpyHunter, that I scanned my PC for the last time.
To my surprise, it detects 3 Trojans, 4 or 5 Eggs, and Browser Hijack (IE).
Those little "Maggots" got deleted as well as some of my Hardware Drivers.
(I tried to explain this in the last reply but I saw my huge typo, lol)

That Optimizing seems to be really handy,
I will get my hands onto it soon.

About System Restore :
TBH, I might lose some of my recently saved documents.
And I just moved all of my movies and musics to other hard drivers.

Little work-around :
I also renamed the photowiz.dll to photowiz.dll.old.
It caused the "Photo Printing Wizard" window stuck at appearing, instead of By-passing it.

If there's only little to no chance about this Windows "Feature".
I should have know if my present in here is just a burden.

Really sorry to trouble you,
Thanks again for the reply !

Ok mate the CCleaner is really for junk removal and will save you a lot of space on the hard drive in the long run. It has other tools too which are very handy.

Now I suspect the Malwarebytes you installed was the paid for version for a trial period I should have mentioned when you download it there is a little box you need to uncheck to avoid being nagged to upgrade so it only means you uninstall and download again and watch each screen and step fr that "trial box" it is still worth having on board because it is not a huge hog of drive space.

The system restore should not lose any of your documents if it does then something went wrong.
System Restore < see point #7

Personally I would still have an on board real time AV MSE is as safe as they come

Now it is no trouble we actually enjoy trying to help folks out of a jam so just post anytime:)
