Doe any body know how to recover from a bad BIOS update?

Some motherboards have a dual BIOS or a BIOS recovery/reset. Check the documentation for your motherboard.

If there is no recovery available, the only option is to replace the motherboard. Contact the motherboard vendor if its still in warranty, they may replace it or replace it at a reduced cost.

Some boards actually have a bios chip that can be safely removed and replaced.

Also, from what I have read about your particular mother board, it has a USB bios feature called M-Flash which should allow you to recovery the bios from a USB drive, I don't know all the details but with your board it should be easy to recover from this problem. Scroll down in the link to see M-Flash option.

Reflash the BIOS with the latest version.

See above Chev's post above ^ for your lifeline.
 
MSI don't guarantee that recovery will always work, though. It depends on how the flash-update failed.

I had the same problem a few weeks back, a bad bios update and didn't boot correctly.
Does it still boot up?
And what bios did you flash I with
