How to remove IE 8?

How did you "remove" it? Thru the Turn Windows Features On and Off? That doesn't really "remove" it, more like just disables it.

How can I completely remove IE 8. I disabled it as you stated above but I want it completely off my system. Please help

Microsoft makes it very difficult to remove their products like IE, Windows Firewall/Defender, etc. Might as well just disable them and be happy because it always causes problems somehow when you really do remove them. Plus, some website will only run with IE like Windows Update.
