Hi Guys,

Does anyone Know on how to change the OEM boot splash screen logo, I have a custom laptop done and when I boot up the machine I get a brand name on boot up then there is the usual windows boot up.

Now its not the OEM info that I want to change that you see in the "System info" when windows has fully booted.

Any help would be grateful.

Regards

Grimshaw

Hi D3LL,

Will this method also change the splash screen logo that I first get when I press the power button, that's when the image pops up.

Cheers

The sounds more like a BIOS splash screen which would not be possible to change without flashing the BIOS which I would not recommend at all!!

Hi D3LL,

Thank you for the quick replies and help on this, if it means flashing the Bios then I'll give it a miss lol.

There might just be away to disable it in the bios, check before you try a flash.

I disabled mine on my board and set my timer to maybe 2 seconds, all I see is a quick bios summary screen (no splash) then it goes straight to windows.

Hi AddRam,

Its a splash screen in place of the windows logo, I've looked in the Bios and it's there as a option but it has been greyed out so I can't change it physically :(. Is there any easy way to set it to the default windows logo.
