OK, I got Ubuntu a couple of days ago, tested it and didn't like it, and now I need to remove it because the Ubuntu boot menu loads before my Windows 7 boot menu. I saw many threads before posting this, and didn't find something that would fit me. Some say use easyBCD, some say format the ubuntu partition from the windows disk management utility and so on. I need a correct method to remove it, because I don't have a windows 7 recovery disk, so if I mess anything up, I can't reformat my PC, and I don't want to reformat it, all I want is to uninstall ubuntu and have my PC running as before, but I thought it would have been easier than it actually is.

Any suggestions or other information I need to give, just tell me.

I had a similar issue

I deleted the ubuntu partition and tried to repair boot using the windows disk. Start up repair did something and I performed it thrice. But still it did not do anything.
I had to start from scratch.

So Please dont even think of deleting the partition and repairing it using windows disc.
I don`t know about BCD.

I am sure other experienced users will guide you

I had no idea what uBuntu would do, cuz if I did, I would have NEVER installed it in the first place. And as I said, I only have the CD to install ubuntu, not the one for Windows 7, so I need a solution that doesn't require my windows 7 DVD.

In any normal universe the one link I posted here should have solved your whole problem.

You should probably also realize that there are professionals here offering up their free time to try and help people who generally just insult and talk over them for their effort.

That being said the information you need is in this thread.
