hi i have a hp laptop and forgotten my password how can i reset
lol
umm well....
you need to boot into command prompt and activate your administrator account
hit F8 as the computer is booting up and go into safe mode with DOS prompt command prompt.
when command prompt comes up.. type:
net user administrator /active:yes
should say sucessful...then reboot, she have admin in the welcome screen, go into your admin account and reset your password

because i like to know the percentage that actually activates their admin accounts in windows vista/7 and puts a password on it. usually its open...then their computers get hacked.. *lol* bu oh wel who wants to listen to some computer dweebs
