Solved How to Retrieve Firefox Sync Data ?

Hi,

I've synced my bookmarks and preferences with Firefox two weeks back. Now I've formatted my system and I want to get those bookmarks and preferences that I had added to firefox earlier. Please guide me to do it..

Yes. I have.. But I could see this while goto options--> sync. :sarc:

I do have a username and password (FF sync account). But where to enter the login details ? when I open, firefox--> options--> sync, I get the window like the above attached snip.

Yes... I saw it... But two weeks before I had paired it with FF server... Should i have the pair code with me.. I didn't remember the code :O

Hmm.. the links only direct to setup an FF sync, not to retrieve it..

Here are the steps “how to retrieve Firefox Sync Data”
• Installed Firefox 4 Beta
• Setup Sync.
• Firefox synced all my bookmarks correctly.
• Re-installed Windows re-installed Firefox 4 Beta.
• When setting up Sync, I chose "Merge Data" by default, instead of choosing "Get data from server".
• Now my Firefox, even after Syncing, doesn't show any of my old sync data.
