Solved How to run "startup" program in back ground (minimized_).

Hi,

Following one of Brink's guide I managed to get the program to start with windows (was not an option on install) but I also want it to run minimized.

Easy as this might sound and probably is, I'm struggling to find any help online.

I'm trying to get Sickbeard to run minimized.

Right click on the executable and select Properties. In the Run drop down, select Minimized.

Shortcut - Open Normal window, Minimized, or Maximized

Hi, Ztrucker. Thanks for the info, I've actually done that before and decided to ask here because that did not work. I right-clicked the shortcut in the Startup folder and set that to run minimized but the actual executable does not have the option to run minimized...

Does it work for you now using a shortcut in the Startup folder?

This can only be done with a shortcut, and it only works when using that specific shortcut that this was applied to.

Hi Brink, yes it's all working now. I think it was an operator's error... The program was set to launch my Internet browser. I unticked that and now it launches at Startup and runs minimized.
