how to safely remove the drivers left over by acronis true hd

ello folks
i made the mistake of installing acronis true hd when i installed my ssd but then uninstalled it when i realized it was crap.i didnt use it to clone a drive. i did a clean install of win7

i have'nt had any problems as yet but found these leftover drivers

acronis virtual disk storage filter vsflt67.sys

acronis storage filter management driver fltsrv.sys

when i googled them i started to find all the horror stories about acronis (should have checked first i know)
all i can find is loads of threads telling people to delete such n such registry entries in a certain order but it can still cause plenty of probs.
so i just wondered if anyone knows the safest way to rid this s*** from my pc? or should i just do a clean install of win7?

ive always stayed away from editing the registry as i know it can cause untold problems. so not familiar with it at all.
any help is much apreciated as always

I've seen in other threads about a program called "Driver Sweeper" I believe, though to be honest, I have had no experience with the program at all.

I will try and find the threads for you.

cheers for the reply. yeah i use driver sweeper already but ive read that when removing these drivers of acronis you start getting alsorts of problems. as acronis does something with the storage controller filters or something. when removed windows can become unbootable. even safe mode. some have said that even after a clean install problems persist but i can't see that as the drive is formatted during install.

i haven't had any problems as yet apart from the 2 drivers running at startup so i wonder if it would i just be better off doing a clean install just to be safe.
i should have done a windows backup b4 installing acronis.
think ive answered my own question lol.

No problem, and yes, maybe a clean installation of Windows 7 would be better option just to be on the safe side of things.

Better to have a fresh installation, than a non-working computer or operating system

urgh ive just installed this pos too, after a review said it was the best. and it was a name i remember. and now i read on all the problems..
