How to Schedule Folder Content Deleting Task

Is there a particular reason you feel you need to run Disk Cleanup at each logon? I would find that as a little bit overkill...

I would like to run it every day... i used to do disk clean up everyday... and all the Desktop in my office run faster after it.... so decided to set it at logon... while using some apps will be open and it won't clean every thing properly so i set trigger at logon.

I use windows task scheduler to start the disk cleanup.... no bat file is associated with it.

I'm not on a PC at the moment where i can access Task Scheduler, but here is basically how i troubleshoot scheduled tasks.
Some of my wording may be a bit off, but i think you can see what i mean when you look in Task Scheduler.

In Task Scheduler:
Click Enable all tasks history
Select the task (left click)
Right click on the task and click Run Now

After a minute or 2 click refresh
Look at the History Tab for the Task
Refresh as needed until the task is complete

If any errors are listed, find a solution

When all errors are resolved
Schedule it to run a minute later
Did it run without errors?

When it runs OK automatically
Set schedule/trigger as needed
Verify it works

Click Disable all tasks history

hope this helps,
David
