How to see which Intel Patches have been applied

Have new Dell Inspiron3000, Win 7 PRO, 64 bit and ran Windows update ... all fixes were successful EXCEPT one for INTEL. The error code seems to indicate the fix has already been applied. HOW CAN I SEE WHICH INTEL FIXES ARE ON MY PC?

You can check what Version you have . By doing the following ..


Type regedit in the start search box

Once in the Registry Editor expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"

Next Expand "SOFTWARE"

Next Expand "INTEL"


Click on "Infinst"

On the right hand side of the screen you will see which Version

What am I doing wrong: there is no "Infinst" within "Intel"

Can not say for sure it should be there
