This Toshiba Satellite M60 running XP Pro. There is this 1 prog called "Lcars Shell" that I installed. It has no built in way to stop it from auto start on Windows boot. I have checked MSconfig already and the executable file "lsystem.exe" can't be found there. I have looked in regedit and found many lines for it. But I don't know which line in regedit is for the auto start on win boot. I don't want to uninstall the prog. Just set it so it will not auto start but still have manual start when I want it.

The gateway laptop model MD2614U died because a voltage regulator on the motherboard went poof. The Gateway laptop has been scraped.
If the program's icon is not in Start, All Programs, Startup [can be deleted and won't run at next startup] then put msconfig in the Run box and on the Startup tab look for it and uncheck it, reboot and you will get a window that has a place to put a checkmark to keep the setting you've made. Not checking that box will let the program run again at the next bootup.

I got it figured out. The exe file was in a delay startup list. Not the regular auto start list. Thanks for the input. :D
