Solved How to stop adobe flash player install/update when windows starts?

Hi everybody!

i don't use to shut down the computer just hibernate all the time, but i completly turn off the computer about 2 or 3 times in a month (or when a crash)... but when i start it from turned off i get the gray windows of Adobe Flash Player saying that needs manager rights to continue or something else wrong with the installation of flash player.

I assume it is an update because i already have flash player installed.. BUT i dont want that flash pllayer/adobe install nothing i tried to find something on system configuration and there was nothing regarding flash player in the start up list... what can i do?

you should update Flash whenever there is an update from Adobe since you can easily get infected from a Flash Video that is using an exploit in Flash.

Uhh i did not know that!
i am aware of the updates but just not when the machine wants, but when i want.
it remember me my first mac computer, and why i quit mac's, is not what the machine wants, is what i want

but thank you a lot for the virus warning thing!

Zepher does raise a valid point that you should consider.

You could of course delete Flash altogether, but as so many websites use it your surfing enjoyment may be curtailed if you do.

On balance, it's probably best to update it and be done with it.
