How to test sound beep (from motherboard speaker)?

i googled but did not find a correct test/answer.
tested small app> beep.exe but i think its for win. XP and below...

open a admin cmd prompt type
rundll32 user32.dll,MessageBeep

sorry but beep sound comes out only from external speaker and not
from the motherboard speaker...

Have you got speaker enabled and d you actual have one unplug speakers and try
