How To Transfer Phone Book From Old SIM To New SIM - Non Smart Phone?

I use an old Nokia 6610 phone and have had the same SIM for 18 years. I've got a new contract deal with my mobile/cell phone company (EE, UK) but I have to have a new SIM.


My old SIM has 100 people/companies and their numbers listed in the phone book. It would take ages to key them all into the phone with the new SIM installed. Also, there are some old texts of sentimental value on the old SIM.


How do I transfer the phone numbers and hopefully some texts to the new SIM?

My stupid-phone is a ZTE and I love it. I'm just curious: in general, are SIM cards compatible enough to transfer from one phone to the next?or only the same brand?

There are a number of physically different SIM cards available, but they all use the same storage system As long as you new phone will accept the physical size of the old SIM (maybe using an adaptor, usually supplied with the SIM), then you should be able to transfer the SIM data, (numbers etc), to the phones, internal memory, and then to the New SIM.

The advantage of the Same brand can be the PC software availability to store data on the PC and then send to other phones at will, This is possible with smartphones as standard without the need for additional software other than the Android (Google) Or IOS (Apple) computer software

Aha! I'm a lot more reactionary than you. My SIM card phone numbers are backed up on my Rolodex at home, handwritten, , because flip-phones can't connect with your computer except if you choose to email, and I don't
