I was installing a program onto my computer earlier (Kodak Easyshare software from the official software CD that came with my digicam, a Kodak Easyshare Z730) and as my computer restarted itself, it switched to Aero Basic because I guess the program wasn't compatible with Aero Glass or something (it was made back during the heyday of XP, so I guess that sort of makes sense). I closed the program, right clicked my screen, selected Aero Glass, and I guess it's still stuck on Aero Basic. Has anyone else had this happen, and if so, how do I get the transparency back?

Update: I restarted my computer, clicked on the little notification I got, completely uninstalled Quicktime, and it went back to normal. I guess Windows 7 doesn't seem to like the Quicktime Player very much (or at least not the version that was around in 2005 and predates 7 by a few years). Maybe I should've just used XP mode, but I guess now I know for future reference when it comes to running software that's that old. Let this serve as a warning to others out there who are similarly trying to run older programs (particularly those that predate Vista or 7) on their machine.
