How to undo a hotfix

Yesterday I installed QFE 975741, a hotfix that HP's software told me that I need to install. When it was finished installing I got the message that it might not have installed correctly. Today I am finding that Excel does not calc unless I save the file; when I copy new formulas they do not recalc unless I save the file. I'm wondering if this is because of this Windows 975741. It would seem that the way to test this idea is to undo the installation of this hotfix.

How do I uninstall a hotfix?

Best way is the easiest way, too. Do a system restore.

System restore is a better option. But there is a possible way to remove the updates or hotfixes too.

Control panel - Programs and features - View installed updates - Select the update and uninstall it.

I was able to back out the Windows fix and then when it did not fix the problem with Excel's recalc then I used Control Panel to fix Office 2007. The problem seems to be fixed.
