I'm using Win7 Professional with Office10. I needed to use Publisher and had an old copy I bought years ago. So installed Publisher 2007 and along with it came Outlook 2007, Word 2007, etc.

I brought up Control Panel to delete these old versions before they created problems with the newer versions that I use in Office 10.

But Control Panel will not deleted these individually. It only gives me the choice of deleting the whole Office 2007.

My question is how can I uninstall all of the Office 2007 programs; except Publisher 2007?

(Already this is causing a problem; my Outlook 2010 won't run until it is finishes "an Upgrade in Progress" which it says could take a long time.)

Your help with this will be imeasurably appreciated!!

Hi there if you have the full Version of Office 2007 ... You should be able to do a custom install

You would need to uninstall Office 2007 first

Maxie and Derekimo,

Thanks VERY much. I pondered both of your replies and have everything working perfectly now!!

I uninstalled the complete office 2007 and then purchased Publisher 2010 64 bit and installed and activated it. Now everything is great. Before I was running the 32 bit old version of Publisher and I decided to just upgrade Publisher to also run in 64 bit.

Thanks again,

/ GE
