How to Uninstall/Reinstall Audio Card Driver for HP Mini

Hi I was wondering if someone could give instructions on how to uninstall/reinstall my audio card driver. I'm using a HP Mini netbook (windows 7 starter). I use this Netbook mainly for browsing and watching netflix. I spend a lot of time in a motel . When I'm trying to watch a movie the Audio is faster than the video (The words are already spoken, but the characters haven't said them yet). Netflix support made this suggestion and HP tech support would not help unless I paid them. I downloaded "driver detective" and it said that my Audio was out of date. So , any help would be great thanks.

Welcome to the Seven Forums.

First of all please confirm that you have the latest audio driver on hand. If you don't then please download it from either the Driver Manufacturer's website or the MoBo Manufacturer's website. Had you filled up your complete System Specs, it would have been easy to point out from where to download the audio driver.

That said open the Device Manager (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System) and uninstall the present driver from there by opening the Properties Sheet of your audio driver and then the Driver Tab.

Enter your model # or use the Auto detect "Start Now" button.
You will then find drivers for your specific unit.

Download and install the newest audio driver.
