I have a sony vaio VPCE laptop with integrated memory but 128 MB is dedicated can this portion be upgraded to a larger (bigger capacity) card or is the only way to get better graphics, and thus free up some cpu and memory to make use of the vaios express card, 34 mm port? Ps any one ever used an express card for this purpose and if so do you remove the spring loaded door or would you place the graphics card on top of that door?

Most laptops do not offer the opportunity to upgrade your graphics card. This is a pain, as if I spend £60 on giving my old laptop 2GB of RAM, it's rather pointless as the graphics will still suck. I'm afraid I don't know of any express card GPUs, but Google seems to suggest there is a very small 'market' of them. good luck trying to find one, I hope they exist :)
