You can only do a clean install from 32-bit to 64-bit.

You need a 64 bit Windows 7 disk. You might go to the place you purchased it and see what they tell you.

Sorry, my Tutorial did not apply to what you needed. Your best bet might be to contact Toshiba. Good Luck.

I suppose it's against the rules to post links here, but there are links to legitimate versions of some of the .iso files online. They are from online sites that legitimately sell the OS. (They are of little value without a license key.) A few seconds of web searching ought to find them. (The DigitalRiver links appear to still be live.)

I've never tried the conversion to a generic installer (through removal of ei.cfg). It may be easier if you do it from a USB key:

Use a USB Key to Install Windows 7—Even on a Netbook

You wouldn't need a proper .iso utility to do that; 7Zip (freeware, open source) can extract an .iso.

Good luck.

Of course, the easiest way would be to contact the seller and have them supply the disk that they should have provided in the first place. If the Windows Certificate of Authenticity says 64 bit, they should give you no argument.
