I have read there is a way to do this but I cannot find a way?
Do I have to buy a new copy of 2010?

Has anyone done this process?

Thanks in advance. :)

Sorry Jonesnewton, The process to upgrade to office 2010 is to buy a new copy of Office 2010. I don't believe that MS has a cheap upgrade.

You can upgrade if your a student or teacher with the special version for students/teachers. Or they also have a military version that is only sold in military exchanges.

Rich is correct. When installing Office 2010, it will give you the option to do an upgrade, which simply uninstalls the 2007 version, or to keep your 2007 Office running beside 2010 version.

They did at one time. My Lappy came with Office 2007 and a free upgrade offer to 2010 when it came out. I think that offer ended in August 2010.
