How to use Sprint HTC Touch Pro as WiFi Laptop Internet

I have Sprint HTC Touch Pro and how do I use this to connect to my laptop to surf online. I know how to do via USB Cable... Is there a CAB to install? Thanks!!

Just put the power level to the max (i.e. go Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Wireless LAN -> Power Mode -> and slide all the way LEFT to Best Performance) and all hail ..your problem solved

Is this tethering, via wirelessly connecting to your HTC. I tried via cabled to my iphone, but never tried wireless.

I attached a file that you need to install... This is the registry editor for your phone.

**NOTE**
YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE ZIP EXTENSION FROM "ZIP" TO "CAB" AND INSTALL IT INTO THE PHONE

Once you go into the programs called "PHM Registry"

You need to browse through the registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> COMM >> INTERNET SHARING

DELETE THE FILE IN THE INTERNET SHARING

THEN DIRECT YOURSELF TO THE "SETTINGS" FOLDER UNDER INTERNET SHARING

YOUR GOING TO CHANGE THE "FORCECELLCONNECTION" TO "SPRINT" NOT "PHONE AS MODEM"

ONCE YOU HAVE ESTABLISH THAT, REBOOT THE PHONE.

FOR THE PHONE TO WORK YOU NEED TO HAVE WINDOWS MOBILE DEVICE CENTER CONNECTED... AND PLUG IN YOUR USB, THEN YOUR DRIVERS WILL FIND THE PHONE.

THEN GO INTO YOUR PROGRAMS AND THEN INTERNET SHARING PROGRAM AND SELECT "USB" AND CLICK ON CONNECT. CHOOSE 'PUBLIC"
