how to use wifi and lan at the same time?

i use lan to access my work network and i use wifi to access internet on my windows 7. but if i enable both of them, the internet does not work. only when i disable lan, intternet works.

how to use both at the same time?

In my opinion you cannot do what you are asking because it would conflict with eachother. You could have them both enabled but not connect using the two. Unless there is a special program or card, but not that i know of.

There is a Group Policy setting that allow you to use two connections at the same time, this setting will at least give a chance at getting this to work.

Open the GPE by typing gpedit.msc. into the run box. Go to Computer configuration, Admin templates, Network, Windows connection manager, you can see the setting there in the picture and you can read about what the setting does. :)

Not quite sure if this will solve your problem but what I would try first is change the " Metric " of your WiFi and lan card. Go to your ipv4 settings in the wifi card then go to advanced at the bottom you will see metric it is probably set to auto set it to 1 then go to your lan card and look for the same thing but give it a higher number
