The inferno continues !
Local weather person says it will be hotter than yesterday, guess we will break 100 f today easily.:devil2:
This is above normal, usually this time of year it is around 85 f or so.
This is day six of this and one more to go, calling for very severe thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.
What is it like for you ?
I'd rather shovel snow, at least there'd be a good reason for sweating.Huh, what 85 ? Maybe up there you have a different weather pattern LOL
96 is totally normal for this time of year.
I love it, beats shoveling snow anyday![]()

Wouldn't it be easier to use a blower or have your better half do it for you?I'd rather shovel snow, at least there'd be a good reason for sweating.Huh, what 85 ? Maybe up there you have a different weather pattern LOL

Things are abnormal here Bob, its been mid 80s for the last few days, its too hot to walk on the ground bare foot and I cannot remember the last time that happened. The roads round here are turning from grey to black, I can only guess this is due to car tires being extra hot and laying down rubber on the surfaces, but it certainly looks weird and I have never seen that before.
We might get a couple of days this hot in the summer, but not 2 weeks of it non stop and it looks like its set to continue for quite some time.
We've had highs in the upper 90's all week with heat indexes into the 100's.https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...kENGtiQf1nICYDQ&ved=0CEIQsAQ&biw=1828&bih=885There`s only 1 reason to sweat, besides work, and I think you all know what that is. The only place I want to see snow is on a ski trip or a post card. I hate the cold (d)
I`m planning my next island trip, can`t decide between St. Martin ( again ) Jamaica, Aruba or Barbados.

How far can lightning strike?
Almost all lightning will occur within 10 miles of its parent thunderstorm, but it CAN strike much farther than that. Lightning detection equipment has confirmed bolts striking almost 50 miles away.
