Final total here was 14" of snow. Next year I may invest in a flame thrower to REALLY clear things fast

It rarely gets above 120F in the Summer here.

Bill, our heating bill was 2 1/2 times normal and that was the reading before all of the snow!

I'm sure a month of extreme heat is worth the rest of the year. Besides, it's probably a dry heat - not like Philly hot and muggy... sweat pouring down from your head to your toes type of heat

And you have the mountains, the ocean, and most of a lake to cool off.

Yesterday some friends pick me up at the house to do some food shopping.
I haven't been out of the house for about 3 weeks.
Then the laughs started. When I stepped off the steps the snow was up to my knees. It had to look funny to all watching.
To me it was funny and painful. With lower back and hip problems it is very difficult to walk to the truck just a few feet away.
I have been watching out the windows to see if any more Polar Bears have made it down from the pole.
