HP 635 Audio driver

Hey can any body help me out with a working audio driver for the HP 635 I have tried the drivers off HP and realtek drivers but none work I managed to get the X off the icon in the taskbar but still dont have any audio from looking around it seems to be a very common problem but I cant find a working driver as HP and realtek dont support it any more is there any unversail driver that I could try

Hi there .. I am a little surprised the Driver from HP Website does not work .. As it states it works with Windows 7 ..

It says it will but wont by the looks of it most of them have the problem noticed that somebody installed windows 7 enterprise at some stage and the laptop was never factory made with that version installed so I'm going to try it with 7 pro and see if the drivers will work them

Uninstall whatever device and driver you have and let Windows install the generic, basic function, "HD Audio Codec" and see if that works.

Go to the Device Manager, RIGHT click on whatever sound driver you have now to highlight it and then LEFT click "Uninstall". Also, check the box to uninstall the drivers. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it should detect the sound (if its Windows 7 compatible) and install the HD Audio Codec. If it does not install any driver, good chance whatever you have is not compatible and a separate sound card, that is Win 7 compatible, will be needed.
