HP Officejet Pro 810c, won't load using Windows 7. I hunted all over looking for answer, but no joy
Have been running VM ware (vitual machine) with windows XP for old computer game. I decided to activate VM, start XP, plug in printer. XP found the driver and loaded OK.

To my surprise when i returned to win7, I found that the driver for Office jet 812c had been loaded and all the best also in Windows 7...win win:D:geek:

cheers

This thread is over 6 years old. From what I can tell searching at the HP support site, this printer is so old, it (and support for it) has been discontinued.
Normally, HP maintains at least compatible drivers at their site.
The fact that nothing is there suggests that you might be out of luck.

Perhaps someone else will have some more favorable suggestions.

Hi:

This thread is over 6 years old. From what I can tell searching at the HP support site, this printer is so old, it (and support for it) has been discontinued.

One solution is simply to run the device on an old OS. I have an ancient HP Scanner that is a true workhorse ... but HP never made a Windows 7 driver. I ran it for years from inside an XP Mode Virtual Machine with XP printer drivers.

Good idea!
With high-quality inkjet (and even laser) printers being so inexpensive these days, it may be more work than it's worth. But it might certainly extend the lifespan of the old HP 810.
