Hi all
from the BBC's business pages

BBC News - Hewlett Packard buys ArcSight security software firm

Not sure why there's a whole spate of people buying security firms these days --IMO it would appear a waste of money unless you get Corporations to splash out "Loadsamoney" on expensive security systems which aren't in reality any better than their CHEAPER and often ZERO COST bretheren.

For HOME computers MSE just seems fine.

IMO a lot of thois stuff seems WAY over the top driven largely by "perceived ignorance" and paranoia.

Cheers
jimbo

Does seem kinda strange that these acquisitions are happening so all of sudden. Makes me wonder what's going on.

Interesting, they'll do well to make money out of it. I'm happy with MSE though, does the job for me and never had any problems.
