HP deskjet 670c

I have HP deskjet 670c printer. I connected the same through USB with USB to Parallel cable to HP pavillion dv6 1245 laptop.
As there is no driver for the above printer, I manually loaded 690c driver which worked temporarily. But every time I connect printer, it loads as unknown device and printer does not work. I request some enlightened members to suggest some remedy

It would be very good if you completed filling out the system specs for future help. I'm pretty sure your problem is associated to the driver for your Parallel to USB devices ieee drivers not being loaded, if they were then Windows 7 would recognize your 670c it's how my Alienware M17x recognizes my HP 4L by first seeing the ieee connection then the HP4L.
