I have been scouring the internet for a solution to this problem, but sadly can't find any. I recently purchased a new HP computer, it has a really nice screen. However, the right edge of the screen has a shadow on it. It's isolated to the right edge. The bottom of the right edge is just fine, it is just part of the right edge that has a shadow. It's not that big a problem, but I'd rather have the screen be uniform, especially since I just bought the computer. Is there any solution to this? Or should I just swap it out for another machine at the store. I really don't want to do that because I just removed all the add-on software. Appreciate any help.

Could you post picture of what your talking about? It sounds like a defect in the screen and if that is so, then most definitely take it back to exchange.
