Hello, I have an HP EliteBook 8460p. (Sorry if my post seems "Noobish", I just joined.)
I recently purchased it, and have since found out that it will not recognize the Graphics card, and will
instead use Windows' default "Standard VGA Adapter". I have downloaded multiple drivers, but none seem to work. As such, I cannot play games that require "OpenGL Acceleration". Would very much appreciate help.

Thanks in advance.

Did you get your drivers from here?

That should be the only place that you should get drivers from. You will have to install the Intel driver first, then the AMD driver, since your laptop has a dual graphics card. Make sure that you get the most recent AMD driver. There were a couple of them listed on the HP site.

You may also have to make sure that your chipset drivers are up to date before installing the graphics drivers.

And welcome to the forums. :)

I fixed my issue by running Windows Update, then re-running a program which hadn't worked prior to the update, called "AMD Driver Auto Detector". Thanks for the help ;)
