Hi All,

Having a problem I'm hoping you can help with. I have a new Win 7 laptop that I've configured to work with our wireless HP printer - no issues there. But when I go to work I use the network printers (HP LaserJet series).

I downloaded the Universal Print driver from HP for the LaserJet series in question - initially it worked fine, but then stopped working after I came home and used the wireless printer. I uninstalled and reinstalled the universal print driver, and it worked again. Now it doesn't work again.

To make matters worse, the printer at work is broken now and shows that it's my document that's stuck in it! I can't even access the printer to cancel the job.

My question: how the heck do I get my new machine to work with these HP printers?? i'm assuming that the two drivers have some compatibility issue with each other (my wireless and the univ print driver) - but I have to be able to print at both places. Any ideas??

One possibile solution would be to create two user profiles - one for home and one for the office. Install the home HP on your home logon and install the office HP under your office logon. That would keep them separate.
