HP Z420 now with 2GB X 3 = 6GB .. need to add another 8GB single RAM

Hi There

My client to have HP Z420 currently with 2GB X 3 = total of 6GB

Now. I was asked to upgrade to 14GB with a single 8GB ram slot the client have already purchased.

What is the best RAM configuration in here with 8 RAM SLOTS accd to HP documentation.

can someone pls. guide me which slot should have which ram slot etc.

Are you saying that you have a total of four RAM sticks to work with: 8, 2, 2, and 2GB? If so, this Service and Maintenance manual http://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c04205252-1.pdf
suggests that you put the RAM sticks in the order shown in the attached picture.
