i can't remove this addon from my browser it's belong to babylon it's like a viruse or maybe it is Search i removed it from everywhere in the computer but still appears as my home page

i use avast as an internet security and yes microsoft update is current i use ccleaner everyday and i used Malwarebytes to check if it's malware

Do you actually see an addon still installed? It may just be that your search is still set to the glarysoft search. Look to see if there is actually an addon

Tools> Add-ons> Extensions

If there is one set it to disable. If there isn't, just change the default search engine

After you said that, I downloaded Glary Utilities. During the install, there an option box with a tick, to set Glary as my homepage and default search provider. I left it selected. To remove it; I uninstalled Glary from ADD/REMOVE programs. Then I downloaded it again, this time I unticked that box. After the install, all was OK. When Glary home page was installed. I checked the home page in internet properties and found this exact URL (Web Address).

Even after the uninstall I had to manaully change the home page back to my normal one. Tools>Internet Options>Home Page>type Google.com



How do I prevent programs from changing my default search provider

Open Internet Explorer.

1. Click the Tools button, and then click Manage Add-ons.
2. In Manage Add-ons, under Add-on Types, click Search Providers.
3. Toward the bottom of the screen, select the Prevent programs from suggesting changes to my default search provider check box, and then click Close.
