Anyone who remembers me from here I just want to let you know we're ok.
Our house was completely surrounded with water with only about an inch coming in.
I urge those that can give to the various charities to please do so.
The devastation is unimaginable .
My sister and her 2 girls were rescued off the roof of there house and have lost everything.

I'm not sure if this post will be allowed but appreciate your support

Yep a lot of people got whacked by flooding I was lucky never even lost power which is in it's self amazing :confused:
One friend in cinco ranch got hit with 4 foot of water and no insurance he is an unbeliever but might be warming up now a tad too late he owns his home so fema at least or max will give him a 1.7% loan for repairs ?

Worst for me personally is I'm cut off from work being on the wrong side of buffalo bayou not going to take a long 610 loop horse shoe route to get there and back at this point with the rest of detour crowd.
Best to sit it out especially with gas being out in all the stations I've driven by even wallyworld/ walmart :p
