Installed win 7 in a dual boot config. .Win 7 is the D:\ drive.on my second harddrive. My hvr 1600 works perfectly On my C:\ with win xp.

Windows 7 did not recognize the card at all.No new hardware found message.I tried a different slot still does not see it.I do not have a original installtion cd from Happauge.I have tried all the drivers on their website except Wintv7 which I can't use because I dont have the original cd.I always get the drivers were not installed or no compatable hardware found message.

Thanks, Jeff

The latest driver package contains both 32 bit & 64 bit drivers for your card, so I don't think that drivers are your issue. It sounds like the card may be faulty or incorrectly installed.
Have you checked in Device Manager to see if there are any unknown devices?

Thanks for the reply. This card works fine with windows xp just not win7.Drivers wont install because the card isn't being recognized.I had the same problem when I bought the first one.wasn't being recognized by xp. Rma'd it and it now works fine for xp but I cannot get it installed in Win 7.
