Hyperdesk themes and flashing taskbar buttons

Hi folks,

I know this isn't quite the right place to post this, but it kinda involves some theming issues, so here :

I have been using Hyperdesk (W7 Edition - Darkmatter Subspace) for a little while, and I am having a pretty annoying problem when it comes to flashing taskbar buttons, actually because these simply aren't flashing anymore. I use Windows Live Messenger quite a lot, and this instant taskbar flashing (on unread messages) is more than useful to me.

This issue has been shortly discussed on the Hyperdesk forums (without actually fixing it up), according to some guy it is due to the fact that Hyperdesk themes don't have transparency.

That being said, It'd be great if some of you had a fix for this (I mean get the buttons working back). Otherwise, I would have to look for an alternative to keep notified about instant messages (again, your ideas are more than welcome).

I haven't used Messenger in ages but doesn't it have sound notifications for this sort of thing?

Well yeah it does, but it doesn't do the job because the alert is not permanent. I mean suppose I get afk for a moment and I get some messages meanwhile, the sound won't wait for me till I get back.
