Hello, I've been having an issue with my computer for months now, random game crashing and BSODing. I've done memtest, fur mark, system scans, uninstalled damn near everything and updated all drivers and the issue continues (while gaming only).

I was told to try HyperPi/SuperPi, but I cant find a working link any where for it.
I'd much appreciate if someone could help me out with this so I can get back to gaming -.-

Thx an advance for any advice~

Are you overclocking? Monitoring CPU and GPU temps? Made sure all your fans and heatsinks are working and clean? Checking for game patches/bug fixes?

Done all that but the overclocking (no exp with that).

HyperPi only tells me what my comp is capable of? Not where a problem is?

Sounds like you're not overclocking, right? - that's a leading cause of instability. Are you BIOS settings tweaked at all? Make sure ram and cpu settings are at their defaults (usually they are auto-detected).

Are there specific games that crash? Have you checked with others who play the same games to see if they have similar issues? What security software are you using? What apps do you have auto-starting and running in the background when you play games? Have you been doing disk maintenance (cleanup and defrag)? Do you have enough free space on the hard drive?

.
Good point. I tend to forget the Event Viewer which sometimes makes it perfectly clear what the problem is:

In the Windows 7 "search programs and files" bar (on the Start Menu) just type "view event logs" and the correct link will come up.

Im not overclocking and my bios are normal, never touched the RAM or cpu settings either.

The game I play is WoW (World of Warcraft) and I've seen many topics of other players with this issue.
Its thought to be the NVIDA/AMD + WoW combo = crash.
At the time I was using AVG but uninstalled it, process of elimination. Only thing that auto starts on my comp is MSN which I log off of to raid, disk maintenance and defragment are done weekly and my HDD has like 30gbs free space.

I've uninstalled the game and reformatted the HDD, uninstalled drivers then updated them.

I checked my event viewer but Im not sure what to look for :x sry.
Is there someway i can post it maybe?

you could check your dumpfile when BSOD happens. You can find it on c:windows/minidump

and you can learn how to analyze it here, still you can also post an attachment of your dumpfile in this forum
